A current Wesleyville Borough Councilman and Republican candidate for State Representative is due in court Wednesday morning.
According to court records, William Crotty, 29, is due in court Wednesday morning on DUI charges and vehicle registration suspension.
Crotty was arrested for allegedly driving while impaired February 14, 2016.
Crotty is currently on the county’s unofficial election ballot as a GOP candidate for 1st DistrictState Representative and would face off against incumbent State Representative Pat Harkins.
Crotty is also the former winner of a HAPPI 92.7 tuition scholarship, after living on a school bus for more than a month.
