A woman accused of causing a deadly collision entered a plea in court.
Investigators say 41-year old Joy Goodwin crashed into 19-year old Andrew Schubert near West 12th Street and Marshall Drive.
Schubert was killed as a result of the accident.
The crash happened in June of 2017.
Police say Goodwin had an open bottle of spiked Gatorade in her vehicle, and her blood-alcohol content level was more than twice the legal limit.
Tuesday she pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle while DUI among other charges.
She’s set to be sentenced on April 11th.
