Work begins on Cambridge Springs bridge

Local News

It’s a long way around for drivers in Cambridge Springs as one of the town’s main bridges is being torn down.

Work has begun on the bridge that carries Route 6 over French Creek.

The 203 ft span was built in 1901 and was recently listed in poor condition by PennDot.

The cost of the project is more than $3.8 million. The Detour uses both Grant Street and McClellan St.
