Experts say living Christmas trees can house up to 25,000 bugs.
Some of the most common are spiders, mites, and bark beetles. While many of the pests need the tree to survive, others can linger once the tree is gone. Pest control companies say people should shake their tree and leave it in a garage for a few days before bringing it inside.
But, people should stay away from pesticides as they can be flammable when sprayed on the tree.
