County addresses election day safety and security

As we near what has become one of the most contentious elections, county officials are prepared for any “what ifs” that may occur.

Erie County Sheriff John Loomis says his staff will bring in extra man power to oversee the election and safety at the courthouse.

Erie County Council President Andre Horton expressed concerns when pressed about safety measures being taken.

Sheriff Loomis confirmed his staff will not be directly stationed at any of the precincts.
