Votes from the primary election continue to be counted today at the Erie County Courthouse.

Erie County Clerk of Elections Doug Smith said about 900 write in ballots still need to be counted.

Smith said that thousands of write in ballots were flagged by an electronic system and now teams are working to review those ballots.

Smith expects all of the write in ballots to be counted by Wednesday, May 26th.
