Votes from the Primary Election continue to be counted in the ballot room at the Erie County Courthouse.

Erie County Clerk of Elections Doug Smith says about 900 write in ballots still need to be counted.

Smith says thousands of write in ballots are flagged by an electronic system, saying teams are working to review these write in ballots.

All write in ballots are expected to be counted by Wednesday, May 26th.
