Long time lawmaker Fabrizio passes

Numerous sources confirm to Action News that long time Erie lawmaker Flo Fabrizio has died.

The eight time 2nd District lawmaker announcing in April that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a difficult form of cancer to treat.

Later he announced that the would not be seeking a ninth term in office and publicly supported fellow democrat Bob Merski to replace him.

Fabrizio held a masters in education degree but devoted himself to politics, serving as Erie County Clerk and Clerk of Elections before running for the State House.
