May 9, 2017 – An unusual move in this Primary Election season, an announcement is expected later this week from unnamed
Erie City Council members, expressing an endorsement for Joe Schember.
Schember, one of seven democrats running for Mayor of the City of Erie, is a former member of Erie City Council.
An announcement is set for Thursday morning at Schember’s headquarters where four council members are expected to be present to announce their endorsement.
Schember says he was approached by the council members.
