The former Apprentice star turned White House Aide, Omarosa Manigault-Newman is leaving the White House. But, she and White House Employees are telling different versions of the story.
The latest departure from the White House staff telling her side of the story on Good Morning America. The reality tv star came to Washington with President Trump as one of the most high profile African-American staffers in the administration. A friend of the president, she could walk into the Oval Office whenever she wanted. That is, until Chief of Staff, John Kelly, took over.
“I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people and when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear,” she said.
President Donald Trump offered his goodbye in a tweet writing, “Thank you Omarosa for your service! I wish you continued success.”
