A Crawford County woman has died in what is described as a freak accident involving falling tree limbs.

Diane Fritz, 61, was critically injured when she was struck by a large tree limb. This took place along North Watson Run Road in Crawford County during the rough weather on April 1.

Fritz was taken to UPMC Hamot after being injured but did not survive her injuries.
