Seniors tell us why it’s important to vote

For the first time in 12 years a new mayor will be elected in the city of Erie and the heated County Executive race is on the line.  Several senior voters we talked to today say those two races are of the utmost importance and the reason everyone should get out and vote.

Faithful, long time voters from the city and Erie County say the future depends on our decision today.  Art Martinucci tells us, “the reorganization or rebuilding of Erie I think is important and it seems that things are being planned out right now”.

John P. Sitler says, “I work with a lot of people who say my vote doesn’t count you have to get out and do something whether something happens or not that is just the way the process is”.

National studies show that seniors rank as the best voting age group in just about every election.
