An autopsy is complete on the woman shot at an Erie Pizza Hut Saturday afternoon. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Alicia Stalheim, died due to multiple gunshot wounds.  Coroner Lyell Cook has declared her death a homicide.

Erie Police confirmed Stalheim had been shot in the back of the head and died late Saturday.  A second woman also suffered a gunshot wound to her shoulder.  No word on her current condition.

The suspect, 48-year-old Luis Rodriguez, surrendered to State Police after being spotted on Interstate 90 near Fairview.  He was handed over to city police who booked him Saturday night.  He was arraigned early Sunday morning on first-degree murder and numerous other charges.

Chief Dan Spizarny tells us,  “Through the investigation, we were able to determine it was potentially a boyfriend/girlfriend type situation.”

Rodriguez is being held in the Erie County Prison without bail.
