ERIE, Pa. — Students at Strong Vincent High School were sent home at noon Wednesday due to a bomb threat received earlier in the morning.
School District police and Erie police were both notified of a possible bomb threat around 11 a.m.
Police do not believe it is credible at this time.
The school district released the following statement:
“The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Parents are being notified via the one call system. EMTA has also been notified and are working with the district to provide regular bus service for those students who normally ride the bus home from school. No other districts schools are affected and the district will provide updates as we receive additional information from EPD.”
