Suspect in police murder in custody

Police have arrested the man they say gunned down a New Kensington Police Officer.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, 29-year-old Rahmael Sal Holt is now in police custody.  Holt has been identified as the person who shot and killed Officer Brian Shaw.  Police believe Holt gunned down Shaw Friday night following a traffic stop and foot chase.  

Tavon Harper is being held on $500,000 bail on drug and fleeing charges after being arrested at his home on Saturday.  Police say he’s the alleged driver in the incident.
