She’s determined, caring, outgoing and very talkative. Those traits helped this week’s Good Kid take a title within the Girl Scout program. Traci Teudhope shares her story.
Kendall Laurin is a 9-year-old Girl Scout here in Erie, and like many scouts, she’s always busy collecting badges. “I learned fire safety. We had a skating party…” And, Kendall is quite the salesperson. In fact, she is the top cookie seller for our area.
Jennifer Laurin, Kendall’s mother tells us there are, “many things you can do with Girl Scouts. I think the fundraising; you put yourself out there, you talk to a lot of people and have a lot of fun… when she sets a goal, she obtains it and she’s really good at talking to people”.
Her determination makes her a good role model for her peers. Jennifer saying, “just her level of confidence is inspiring”.
