JET 24/FOX 66 is helping foster children find warm and loving homes. This month, a creative teen with a heart for animals is looking for a family of his own.
17 year old Tim has a big heart. He loves caring for animals and wants to make a living of it, but for now, he’s looking for a family that iwll love and care for him.
“I love to color. I love to draw. It’s my favorite whenever I’m by myself, because it keeps me calm.” On a calm summer day, Tim strolls through the Erie Zoo for the first time, but it’s not his first time spending time around animals. “I am an artistic, creative person. I love animals.”
That love for animals intensified while working at the Pittsburgh Zoo for two years. One of his main duties, feeding monkeys. “They were very calm, because they’re mostly trained. So, I like it, because it’s kind of my thing, because I get how they feel and stuff.”
He says he wants to be a Marine Biologist when he gets older, but heading into his Senior year, his search for a loving family continues. He says he’s been looking for a home for a couple of years. “I just want a family, now, that let’s me in… like they’re open more, that they can accept me for who I am… that don’t ignore me. I just want a family that’s honest with me.”
