Dr. Audrey Birnbaum, author of “American Wolf: From Nazi Refugee to American Spy,” joins JET 24 Action News for National Book Month to celebrate all the important literature we are surrounded by. She tells us a little bit about her new book, “American Wolf: From Nazi Refugee to American Spy” and what inspired her to write the book.

The book details the true story of author Audrey Birnbaum’s father, Jack Wolf Schwersenz, his family’s nail-biting escape from Nazi Germany to the U.S. and his survival against untold odds.
