Josh Allen went to a party on Wednesday. It was a surprise party of sorts.

Cade Spinello was turning 13 years old. Cade was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age five. He, then, had a stroke during the surgery.

He had to re-learn how to walk, lost a major portion of his eyesight and has limited function on his right side. However, Cade’s attitude has been relentlessly positive.

Allen was inspired by Cade’s story. They trained together with Sam Darnold at Jordan Allen’s quarterback camp last spring. Allen also invited Cade to Buffalo when the Bills hosted the Jets. Cade got a VIP tour, gave the Bills an inspirational pep talk and watched a Sabres game from the suites.

Cade’s father wondered if Allen could send Cade a video message for his 13th birthday. Instead, Allen showed up in person.

The TeamSuperCade twitter feed posted a picture of Allen arriving for the party and giving Cade a hug. The picture was taken by Cade’s father Mike and Allen’s girlfriend Brittany Williams is following the Bills quarterback through the door holding what is likely to be some sort of baked goodie.

The Spinellos are from the Los Angeles area, just a few hours south of Allen’s Firebaugh, California hometown.

It’s unclear if Allen will develop into a great quarterback, but he already seems to be a great man.
