DeBrincat named CHL Player of the Year

Sports
Otters record-setting forward Alex DeBrincat can add another trophy to his collection.

The Canadian Lockey league presented DeBrincat with the Sportsnet Player of the Year award today.

Debrincat joins Connor McDavid as the only Otters to win the award – which has been presented annually since 1975.

Undrafted into the OHL, DeBrincat’s name joins the likes of Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, Eric Lindros and John Tavares on the trophy.
