Gannon Men Earn NCAA At-Large Bid, Will Face East Stroudsburg in Rematch

PSAC Men’s Basketball Tournament Championship:

East Stroudsburg 89 – Gannon 67

The Gannon men’s basketball team has received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament, earning the seventh seed in the Atlantic Region. Virginia State will serve as the host March 10, 11 and 13. Head coach John T. Reilly’s club will be making its 25th NCAA Division II Tournament appearance in program history and first since 2015. The Golden Knights have advanced to the postseason 28 times during the last 34 seasons, advancing to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight five times.

No. 1 seed Virginia State (24-4) vs. No. 8 seed Virginia Union (18-14)

No. 4 seed West Liberty (26-3) vs. No. 5 Shippensburg (23-7)

No. 2 seed East Stroudsburg (24-5) vs. No. 7 Gannon (22-9)

No. 3 seed Wheeling Jesuit (26-5) vs. No. 6 seed West Chester (21-6)
