Save an Eye Committee Cancels Annual All-Star Game

Local Sports News

For the first time in the game’s 81-year history, the annual Save an Eye All-Star football game has been cancelled. The decision was announced via a press release on Friday evening.

Committee members exhausted all possibilities of playing the game, but the health and safety of everyone was the biggest factor during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The senior all-stars will still have their game jerseys presented to them and a lawn sign to recognize their athletic achievement.
