McDowell has confirmed it has named Aaron Pentz as its interim head coach in varsity boys soccer for the remainder of the season replacing long-time coach Jamie smith.

Smith was not present at McDowell’s 1-1 draw with Cathedral Prep on Monday night at Dollinger field.
The McDowell athletic department declined to comment on the situation any further.
