White Leads PSU as First-Team All-American

Six Penn State volleyball players landed on the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-American teams released Wednesday.

Libero Kendall White is the first Penn State Libero to become a first team All-American.

She is also the Big Ten defensive player of the year. She holds multiple records for Penn State including most digs in a season.

Freshman Jonni Parker also landed on the third team as one of only two freshman to be on the top-three teams.

OH Jonni Parker – AVCA All-America Third Team

OH Nia Reed – AVCA All-America Honorable Mention

S Bryanna Weiskircher – AVCA All-America Honorable Mention

MB Kaitlyn Hord – AVCA All-America Honorable Mention

MB Serena Gray – AVCA All-America Honorable Mention
