Otters Select Drysdale Fourth Overall in OHL Draft

The Erie Otters added 14 to their list of prospective players with their choices at the 2018 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, including seven forwards, six defensemen, and one goaltender.

The Otters selected fourth overall in the first round where they drafted GTHL player of the year Jamie Drysdale. The 5’11”, 158-pound defensemen tallied 50 points with the Toronto Marlboros during the 2017-18 campaign. Erie used their two third-round picks to add depth at the center position by taking Ryan Alexander 58th from the Toronto Marlboros and Frankie Carogioiello 60th from the Toronto Jr. Canadiens.
