Pitt redshirt senior running back Qadree Ollison has changed his jersey number from 37 to 30 for his final year with the Panthers.
He did it in honor of his late brother, LeRowne “Rome” Harris, who was murdered in October of 2017 in a gas station parking lot in Niagara Falls, New York.
The convicted murderer was one of Ollison’s middle school classmates.
Harris wore the number 30 when he played football growing up. He was just 35 years old.
