Jerry Roberts and Dominick Covato will represent the Cathedral Prep football program one week from tonight in the annual Big 33 football game down in Hershey.

The Rambler defensive standouts are of part of Pennsylvania’s best as they’ll try and beat the Maryland all-stars on the other side.

Roberts finished his senior season with 90 tackles with 11 for loss from his linebacker spot, while Covato came up with six fumble recoveries to go along with 57 tackles and 3 blocked kicks.

Roberts says, “We’re all going to play football at some type of college level and to just be with the top 33 players in PA and to have us all on the same team and to compete against each other for spots and knowing that you’re gonna get the best every single play out of all 33 of us is just a blessing.”

Covato says, “This is the biggest game I could ever play in, I mean I’ve dreamed about playing in this game since I was in seventh grade, and making it now, especially representing Prep, there’s nothing else like it.”

They’ll be leaving tomorrow morning for Hershey with a lot of anticipation for the big stage.
