The Pittsburgh Steelers fell last night in their third preseason game 19-15 to the Indianapolis Colts.
McDowell graduate and rookie running back James Conner carried the ball four times for 26 yards in the Steelers’ loss.
Starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made his preseason debut completing six of his nine passing attempts for 73 yards, while not registering a touchdown or interception.
Star wide receiver Antonio Brown logged two receptions on two targets for 28 yards, while linebacker Ryan Shazier recorded an interception on defense for Pittsburgh.
The Steelers wrap up the preseason this Thursday night in Carolina against the Panthers.
Pittsburgh opens the regular season on Sunday, September 10th at Cleveland.
