A Crawford County man is in jail after police discover a meth lab in a temporary shelter for men.
Meadville City Police responded to a call at Saint James Haven on Walnut Street after the building manger told police he feared there was a meth lab inside.
Once inside the building police located evidence of a meth lab.
50-year-old Jerry Alan Whitman was arrested for operating a methamphetamine lab amongst other charges.
He is being held in the Crawford County correctional facility.
