A severe storm watch has been issues for Erie, Crawford and Venango Counties until 10 p.m. on May 21.

This storm involves risk for strong damaging wind gusts along with reported small hail. Reportedly the risk for tornado is low.

Thunderstorms are developing off of lake breeze boundaries in Ohio.

Update from weather team: Thunderstorms with torrential downpours falling in western Erie county and into northeast Ohio. Some storms will have small hail, with some gusty winds also possible. These storms will move mainly across Erie county in the next hour. Will continue to monitor.
